The Janesville Multicultural Teacher Scholarship (JMTS) advisory board is excited to announce that the Wisconsin State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Carolyn Stanford Taylor, will be the featured speaker at out 11th anniversary celebration on November 19th, 2019. Carolyn Stanford Taylor, was named the first African American in Wisconsin history to this position in January 2019. Her vision, “Every Child a Graduate, College and Career Ready” is advancing educational equity. We invite you or your organization (or both!) to be a sponsor of this truly unique event. Sponsorship Levels: (1)Presenting Sponsor: $5,000; Benefits: A full table (10 seats), a table close to the podium, Name/logo on all event materials the day of the event, and $4800 is tax deductible. (2)Table Sponsor: $2500; Benefits:A table with 8 seats, Name/logo displayed on table, and $2,300 is tax deductible. (4) Half-Table Sponsor: $1,000; Benefits: 6 seats at a table, and $880 is tax deductible. Individual tickets are $50. Carolyn Stanford Taylor’s generosity of appearing will allow JMTS to keep the event’s expenses low and its revenues high! All proceeds from the event are dedicated to the 2020 JMTS scholarship program. The need for one scholarship is $25,000 ($5,000/year for up to five years). And each year we try to give two!
